Sophie

This lovely scarf, as they are called in Estonia, is inspired from a couple of places. The edging is from the original, Sofia shawl in the first Haapsalu book; as best as I can guess from the picture any way. The border and center are from a scarf in the 2nd Haapsalu book and the designer said they were also inspired by the Sofia shawl. I put all these elements together with a wonderful pale pink yarn, named Isis. I decided to name the design Sophie after my niece. There are no nupps in the center, just in the border and the edging. I wanted something easy to work on while I was in the car and out visiting. I hope you enjoy it as well. Happy knitting! And as always, if you need any help, please contact me.
