As promised on Instagram here are the details, so far, for my new blanket idea.
I’m not going to give a ton of info here, just enough so that you can order the yarn that is the inspiration for this blanket when it drops on Saturday!
There is a crocheted and knitted version. I am giving yarn requirements for a 30″ x 40″ / 75cm x 100cm blanket. You can order more or less yarn and make a larger or smaller blanket as desired. Each motif takes about 11 yards / 10 meters and don’t forget extra for the edging.
I will order enough to make one version and I have enough scraps in stash to make the other. I don’t want two of the same blanket.
5 skeins of DK 100g at 246 yards / 225 meters.
I haven’t even begun writing the pattern. I do have a photo of the crocheted motif below. I have a photo of the knitted motif but it isn’t the final motif so I’m not going to share that.
I plan to release this pattern for purchase by mid to late September. If you want into the testing pool please email me and let me know. Testing will open early July and last until the end of August.
