After some delays and ripping and re-knitting of stitches, the North Side Sweater upgrade is ready!
I am so excited to get this sweater out into the world again, written more clearly and now available in 10 sizes from new born through kid’s size 8!

This sweater is knit using fingering weight yarn. The yarn I chose for this sample is Brown Sheep Company’s Nature Spun in sport weight. The name of the color is Butterfly Blue.
The sweater is made up entirely of moss stitch, is a raglan cardigan worked seamlessly from the top down and has buttonhole options for him, her or whomever.

While this pattern is easy, I don’t suggest it for a beginning knitter. The skills used in this pattern are: backwards loop cast on, front and back increases, cable cast on and decrease/yarn-over buttonholes. If you have a handle on knit and purl, you are probably ready for this pattern. These links are for the right handed version of the tutorial. Most of these tutorials also have a left handed version and the link to it will be in the description of the right handed tutorial.
This pattern is fully supported with tutorials on each of the skills mentioned above as well how to count moss stitches, bind off in pattern using the traditional bind off method and how to reinforce your buttonholes. I am also always available. Feel free to message me on Ravelry or email and ask. sara@azariahsfibrearts.com

The pdf file of the finished pattern is available for purchase and immediate download in my Ravelry shop.
If you aren’t a Ravelry user, the pattern is also available in my website pattern shop. The difference is I will be the one emailing you the pdf, so it isn’t instant.
If you make this sweater, please link your project on Ravelry if you are a Ravelry user. If you aren’t a Ravelry user, I have a Google folder where you can share photos of your finished sweater. HERE is the link to that. You will need a Google account (gmail address). Please be mindful of others and don’t delete, copy or move other people’s photos.
Excited to see your finished sweaters!
Happy Making!
