The name Azariah’s Fibre Arts is a mouthful and unusual. I chose it because my Ravelry handle, chosen back in 2009, is Azariah. I chose this for my Ravelry handle because earlier that year I experienced a miscarriage. We had already named this little one Azariah. I didn’t want this one to be forgotten and so I chose Azariah.
A couple of years later, when I started publishing patterns, I wanted to keep the name “Azariah” to make things simple but I needed more to share a little of what my business is about. So I added Fibre Arts, old English spelling too. I also made Azariah be possessive and my business is Azariah’s Fibre Arts.
