Grand Champion – KNIT

Grand Champion with it’s ribbons at the Elbert County Fair in 2013.

A squishy piece of garter stitch lace!

This is a larger square shawl with Orenburg construction and Estonian and American elements. The edging has a spider design in it and the main body has a Shetland motif called small leaf. It was a fun knit that when you finish the last chart you are finished, edging and all. The edging is attached as you go and the final edging also binds off the stitches.
