Snow Fall

The large finished shawl draped over a chair out in the snow.

Snow Fall is an Orenburg Lace shawl, worked in thicker yarn than that traditionally used. I used a snow flake motif, mouse print for the border and mottled porridge for the edging. The snowflakes are the center, with diagonal diamonds for background. You start at the bottom and work the teeth. Then pick up for the body, while still working the side edges. You will then finish by working the top edging and binding off simultaneously. The grafting at the end is so awesome. It takes only about 10 minutes. Just take it one step at a time and keep going.
