Falling Leaves Tote – CROCHET

I love fall. It is my favorite season and if I could have it year around, I probably would. I know it wouldn’t be as special then. Here is a great way to have a little with you each day. This bag makes me smile every time I see it.

I loved crocheting it as well. It moves fairly quickly. The pattern available below has photos for some of the trickier parts. As always there are tutorials on YouTube and I am available by email. See below for schematic.

Falling Leaves Tote is a CROCHET Tote Bag available in 1 size.
Bag is made to be 14″ / 35cm tall, 14.5″ / 36cm wide and 5″ / 12.5cm deep.
Brown Sheep Company’s Nature Spun fingering. I used 2480 yds / 2268 m of the MC and 75
yds / 68.5 m of EACH of 8 Leaf colors.
Hook size “F” / 3.75mm
22 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in single crochet rows
13 opening or split stitch markers, 1 different for BOR marker, 1 progress keeper
Techniques used in this pattern are 2 strands held together, Reverse Single Crochets (optional), Front Post Treble Crochets, Leaf Stitch, Surface stitching, Working in continuous rounds and there will be tutorial links to most of these in the pattern.
The bag is made from the button up in one continuous piece. The handles are added and then each half of the top to complete it.
