Brick and Mortar Mitts is a crocheted pair of mitts where the size is fully adjustable.
55 yds / 50 m MC and 45 yds / 42 m each of 4 CC or 180 yds / 165 m total for CC. Fingering weight yarn
Crochet hook size “D” / 3.25 mm
21 stitches and 30.5 rows = 4 inches in single crochet, not blocked
One stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round
Techniques used in this pattern are the foundation single crochet, joining and changing colors, modified elongated single crochet, working in the ends of rows and whip stitch seaming. You can see the list of all my tutorials HERE and check out my YouTube channel.
These mitts are worked flat, the foundation chain and the final row are seamed together leaving an opening for the thumb.
