“How do you find the time?”

Over the years I’ve had many people, mostly moms, ask me “How do you find the time?” to crochet or knit. My answer was usually “I just do.” While that wasn’t very helpful for them, it kept my sarcasm to a minimum. We find the time for the things that we want to do.

I have recently taken the time to write down, flesh out and chunk the things I learned over the years so that you too can “find” more time to stitch. These are things I have learned while raising a family of 3 on a homestead an hour outside of town*. I’ve put together a free strategy guide that can be implemented in 20 minutes each day for 5 days, to help busy mom’s, college students, full-timers and others, “find” stitching time, guilt-free.

*We didn’t always live this lifestyle. We did the busy city life too and I was stitching then as well.

If this guide sounds like some thing you’d be interested in, the image above is linked to a place that you can find out more and get your own. This guide brings together posts from this blog and some tools that I put together just for this to help you plan for stitching time.

Planning for stitching time is a more effective than planning stitching time. Often when we plan something for ourself, such as stitching time, we don’t actually make it a priority or it is the first thing bummed from the calendar if anything else comes up. Planning for stitching time is a completely different approach that helps you have you time more often, guilt-free. It does take some planning and the 20 for 5 Strategy Guide will walk you through it!

Plan for stitching time, don’t plan stitching time!

Happy Making!
